2009 is a very special year for us - our 90th birthday. KLM was founded on 7 October 1919, and has been flying ever since. That makes us the oldest airline in the world still operating under its original name.​

We think a 90th birthday is something to be celebrated. So we are touring Europe this autumn with our 90th birthday Tour of Inspiration, and we would like to invite you and your friends to come and visit the fully-furnished KLM truck.​

We will be at Athens International Airport on 12th October 2009 between 13.00 - 17.00, and we are looking forward to your visit. Of course you can find out more about KLM, our history and our mission to meet our customers needs. But it wouldn't be a celebration without the chance to have some fun - so you can enjoy Dutch tulips including a competition to win two tickets to Amsterdam...​
