Please pay attention to the following key ticket application principles when applying for tickets for UEFA EURO 2012. Further important information and detailed explanations can be found in the FAQs.
The ticket application process will commence on 1 March and end on 31 March 2011. It has been possible to create a personal account for the ticket portal since 1 February 2011.
Tickets for the tournament will not be allocated on a first come first served basis, thereby giving all applicants an equal chance. You have the same chance of getting tickets irrespective of whether you apply at the beginning or end of the application period. A lottery, supervised by a notary, will be conducted if demand exceeds supply for a particular match and category.
Three different ticket types are available. Please have a close look at them before applying.
It is possible to apply for different ticket types within one application. The official UEFA EURO 2012 ticket portal ensures that individual online applications respect all the sales regulations.
In order to ensure a fair allocation of the tickets, the following rules apply:
It is only possible to apply for seats in a particular price category, not for specific seats.
You can increase your chances of acquiring a ticket by indicating that you would accept tickets in another price category.
In principle, all tickets must be paid for by credit card. Ticket payments must be made in euros. However, citizens of the host countries will have the possibility to pay for tickets in their own currency and via domestic bank transfer.
All applicants will be notified before the end of April 2011 regarding their ticket allocation. Applicants will be given a short time to verify their credit situation to ensure that their order does not get cancelled due to a failed payment. All notifications will be sent by email.
Ticket sales are final upon payment.
To minimise ticket losses, reduce black market activities and avoid counterfeiting, tickets will be dispatched only a few weeks before the tournament to the address given in the application.
Fans are required to accept the seat numbers printed on their tickets. Seats will not be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Applications/orders from persons applying for more tickets than is permitted can be cancelled by UEFA at a later stage, including by electronic ticket invalidation.
If it is not possible to debit the full amount for any reason whatsoever, UEFA is entitled to cancel the order without compensation.
Applications from persons who have received a stadium ban will generally be rejected.

- You can only apply for 4 individual tickets per match (the applicant and up to three guests).
- You can apply for only one price category per match.
- Tickets cannot be requested for two matches that take place on the same day.
